Utah and Renaissance partner on state approvals

In addition to already supporting Utah teachers and students with Nearpod statewide, the Utah Department of Education has awarded Freckle for Math, Freckle for ELA, myON, myON News, Lalilo, and Accelerated Reader as approved K- 12 Supplemental Online Curriculum to meet the needs of eligible users throughout the State of Utah.

Districts can now select our practice products to further meet students where they are in their learning while providing personalized learning experiences.

Early Interactive Reading Software Program

We are proud to announce that Renaissance is approved as a Level 1 provider for the Early Interactive Reading Software Program grades K–3. This partnership allows Renaissance to serve Utah’s youngest learners with interactive early reading software supporting literacy instruction and assessment.

Learn how Renaissance solutions enable families to actively participate in literacy development, while also guiding student growth—in school and at home—with instruction that supports the Science of Reading.

Utah Focus Skills: Roadmap for student growth in reading and math

Focus Skills are—simply put—the building blocks of student learning. Based on extensive research into how learning progresses in reading and math, Focus Skills represent the most critical skills at each grade level. Knowledge of them can provide a roadmap for closing learning gaps as you move every student toward greater mastery.

Some Focus Skills have also been identified as Trip Steps. This means that these skills are not only critical for learning at grade level—like all Focus Skills—but they are also especially challenging for students to master. Renaissance has identified Trip Steps for Reading and Math.
