myON Made assignments, only available through myON, are one of the latest enhancements introduced by Renaissance to support educators and help build literacy skills for all students.
Based on myON’s most popular and inclusive texts in the Core collection, ready-to-use myON Made assignments are skill- and standards-aligned. Each of the 100 new myON Made assignments includes 3–5 activities and provides teachers with an efficient and effective way to support core instruction while helping students build literacy skills aligned with the Science of Reading.
myON Made assignments are designed to support dynamic reading practice by building background knowledge, vocabulary, fluency, and reading comprehension skills.
Accessing myON Made assignments
myON Made assignments are located in the “Shared Assignments” portal on myON, where they are searchable and can be sorted by:
- Date added
- Times liked
- Times duplicated
- Title
They can also be filtered by book category, grade level, and activity type. A preview button on each assignment allows teachers to view the assignment before duplicating.
Once teachers select an assignment, it can be duplicated and used as it was originally created or customized to fit specific teaching needs, making it simple to adapt to any classroom. For those who prefer to create their own assignments from scratch, myON’s assignment creator offers another flexible and intuitive tool to use.
