From assessment results to tomorrow’s lesson

Teaching is already full of decisions. Renaissance and Innovamat are partnering to make them clearer.

When you combine Renaissance assessment data with the Thinking Math curriculum, the insights you need are right there, mapped to the lessons you’re already teaching, translated into specific activities that meet every student where they are. This is what it looks like when assessment and curriculum actually speak the same language.

Curriculum recommendations driven by your assessment data

Your assessment data and curriculum work together, so planning starts from a complete picture of where your students are.

Thinking Math®

Thinking Math! is a research-based PK–8 core curriculum from Innovamat, built natively in English and Spanish. It treats conceptual understanding and procedural fluency as equal goals, drawing on research from both math education and cognitive psychology. Teacher-led lessons go from scaffolded Number Talks to tasks that invite real mathematical discussion, with a low floor and a high ceiling so one lesson reaches the whole class. Students consolidate learning on paper and on screen, through Logbooks and daily adaptive practice in the Fluency Zone. Key concepts are revisited across grade levels, giving students spaced, cumulative practice over time.

Innovamat is a company specializing in math learning that partners with districts to bridge the gap between evidence and everyday classroom practice. Math is all we do, from PK through grade 8. Our programs balance conceptual understanding with procedural fluency, include in-classroom math coaching for every teacher, and integrate curriculum, assessment and intervention in one data-driven platform, all grounded in research with leading experts across fields. Founded in Barcelona in 2017, Innovamat serves 720,000+ students across 9 countries, including hundreds of districts across the US.

Innovamat®, Thinking Math®, and related marks are registered, pending, or common law trademarks of Innovamat in the U.S.
