New tools to track chronic absence and behavior in eduCLIMBER
As a follow-up to the enrollment visualizations released last fall, we are excited to announce two new visuals that make it easier than ever for educators to access, understand, and act on critical student data—prebuilt visualizations for chronic absence and behavior.
Insights into chronic absenteeism
Chronic absenteeism is more than just a number—it’s a signal. With our new out-of-the-box visualizations, educators can instantly see which students are at risk, explore patterns across student groups, and track progress over time. These visualizations are built on industry best practices and are designed to help schools:
- Identify at-risk students early, before academic performance declines
- Ensure equity by uncovering trends across student demographics
- Save time with ready-to-use dashboards that eliminate the need for custom reports

With chronic absence rates more than doubling since the pandemic, having timely, actionable data is essential. These tools help educators intervene earlier and more effectively, supporting student success from day one.
Behavior trends at a glance
Understanding student behavior trends is key to creating a safe, supportive learning environment. Our new behavior visualizations offer five dynamic views—including calendar heatmaps, trend lines, and performance bands—that make it easy to:
- Spot patterns and trigger timely interventions
- Monitor the impact of SEL, PBIS, and restorative practices
- Support teachers with data that informs training and resource allocation

These prebuilt dashboards eliminate the need for manual setup, giving educators immediate access to the insights they need to improve school climate and student outcomes.
Launchpad enhancements
We’ve also redesigned the eduCLIMBER Launchpad to make your most important data even easier to find. Enrollment, attendance, and behavior visualizations now each have their own dedicated widget—so you can jump straight into the data that matters most with just one click.

ROI study: eduCLIMBER delivers 154% return on investment
Finally, we’re proud to share a new study published by the International Journal of Educational Leadership Preparation, showing eduCLIMBER’s positive impact in a school district. The study found a 154% ROI, meaning that for every $1.00 spent in operating eduCLIMBER, the district saved $2.54 in teacher and administrator work time and other costs. This finding validates that eduCLIMBER supports MTSS practices, improves student outcomes, and delivers real value to districts. Check out this infographic for a summary and a link to the full study.
With these new tools, eduCLIMBER continues to make it easier for educators to See Every Student—clearly, equitably, and in time to make a difference.
