Engage families in their child’s learning journey with the enhanced Star Student Report
At Renaissance, we understand that the collaboration between teachers, students, and parents/families is integral to each student’s learning and future success.
To support this collaboration, we introduced the Star Student Report in 2022. The report provides students and families with the opportunity to view Star Assessments results, reflect on students’ performance, and establish a plan with their teachers for continued growth.
We continue to innovate and create tools that support students and their families. Based on feedback we’ve received, we’re excited to share the following report enhancements to help parents/families better understand their child’s performance and gain deeper insights to help guide their child’s future success.
The Star Student Report now includes:
- Useful terms to provide students and families with more context about scores and the student’s performance.
- Results from multiple Star Assessments show progress and growth over time.
- Domain scores, specific to algebra- and geometry-only assessments (available for grades 7–12), which provide an estimate of the student’s mastery of each domain.
The Star Student Report is available for the following Star Assessments: Star Early Literacy English and Spanish, Star Reading English and Spanish, Star Math English and Spanish, Star Math Algebra, and Star Math Geometry.
Sharing assessment results and setting goals with students provides a wonderful opportunity for students and their families to become more engaged and invested in their learning and future success. To learn more about the Star Student Report and how to access it, click here.
