What is an Education Intelligence System?

An Education Intelligence System is a connected teaching and learning system. It brings together information from assessment, instruction, practice, and curriculum into one coherent workflow. What an Education Intelligence System is not

An Education Intelligence System is not the same as a learning management system, an individualized practice program, or a standalone AI tool. 

Learning management systems help organize courses, assignments, communication, and grading. They are not usually designed to turn performance data into daily instructional guidance. 

Individualized practice programs automatically move students through practice activities. Many programs use fixed paths that do not account for the classroom lesson, current unit, or what happened in class today. 

Stand-alone generative AI tools can help create text, lessons, or other materials. But they are often disconnected from the instructional ecosystem. They may lack the curriculum knowledge, learning science, and data needed to provide reliable guidance.

Why it matters for schools and districts

Schools and districts often use separate tools for assessment, curriculum, instruction, and supplemental practice. Each tool can provide useful information. However, separate systems can create isolated data and disconnected workflows.
