Introducing the What Your Kids Are Practicing Shareable Story
Earlier this year, we introduced Shareable Stories in Renaissance Next for Leaders, a powerful way to help district and school leaders communicate the impact of Renaissance solutions using clear, compelling narratives. The first of these stories, What Your Kids Are Reading, transformed data from Accelerated Reader and myON into digestible insights, making it easier for leaders to understand and communicate the impact of their efforts in driving literacy growth in the district.
Now, we’re taking the next step in that journey with the launch of What Your Kids Are Practicing. This new story builds on the foundation of Shareable Stories by offering even deeper visibility into student activity, specifically the literacy and math skills students are practicing in Freckle and Lalilo.
Why this matters for leaders
District leaders face increasing pressure to justify investments, align programs with instructional goals, and communicate impact to stakeholders. What Your Kids Are Practicing is designed to meet these needs head-on by:
- Making student practice visible: Leaders can now see exactly what skills students are working on, helping ensure alignment with curriculum and instructional priorities.
- Supporting advocacy and retention: With clearer insights into usage and impact, leaders are better equipped to justify continued investment in Freckle and Lalilo.
- Empowering storytelling: This feature expands Shareable Stories by adding a new layer of detail, turning student activity into a narrative that’s easy to share with boards, families, and community members.
What Your Kids Are Practicing is available to our Freckle and Lalilo customers and is personalized using Freckle and Lalilo data for students in their districts.
