What Kids Are Reading

ATOS LEVEL is an estimate of the challenge
level of a text reported on a grade-level scale.
Interest level refers to the sophistication/maturity of a text’s content, ideas, and themes:
LG (lower grades, K–3), MG (middle grades, 4–8), MG+ (middle grades plus, 6 and up), and UG
(upper grades, 9–12).

During the 2015–2016 school year, 9.9 million K12 students from 30,863 US schools read over 346 million books and nonfiction articles, per data captured by Renaissance Accelerated Reader 360®. Search for the books kids read most below.
