Report and Dashboard Changes

Previous name: Diagnostic Report

New name: Summary Diagnostic Report

Where to find it: Found in the Most Used row of the Reading Reports menu (top row)

Tips/Key changes:

  • Points Achieved column replaces the retired Student Points Report
  • School level summaries can be found with the Consolidated Implementation Status Report
  • Run this report for any of the Accelerated Reader or Accelerated Reader 360* assignment types, including Reading Practice, Literacy Skills, Other Reading, and Vocabulary Practice Quizzes and Skills practice activities
  • New column header labels put in place to support the ability to run the same report for multiple activity types

New name: Student Performance Record Report

Where to find it: Found in the Most Used row of the Reading Reports menu (top row)

Tips/Key changes:

  • Run this report for any of the Accelerated Reader or Accelerated Reader 360* assignment types, including Reading Practice, Literacy Skills, Other Reading, and Vocabulary Practice Quizzes and Skills practice activities
  • Provides a view of student’s activity, much like the Record Book.

Record Book Changes

The Record Book functionality has been combined with new reports, providing a more streamlined experience for you with one place to go to find students’ data.

Look to the following reports for information previously found in the AR Record Book:

  • The Student Performance Record Report provides a similar view of quizzes each student has taken.
  • The Track Student Work Dashboard is the new place to go to make any edits to a student’s quizzing record.
  • The Quiz Takers Dashboard allows you to select a specific title to see if a student has already taken that quiz.

Goal History Report

Where to find it: Found in the Instructional Planning row of the Reading Reports menu (second row)

Tips/Key changes:

  • To see your student’s progress for different marking periods, use the Date Range selector to change your view to each marking period.
  • New options for sorting this report are available! Click on the column headers to sort the report by % correct or % of points goal attained to quickly see which students have met their goal.
 

Word Count Report

Where to find it: Found in the Certification and Achievement row of the Reading Reports menu (third row)

Tips/Key changes:

  • New options for sorting this report are available! Click on the column headers to sort the report by % correct or % of points goal attained to quickly see which students have met their goal.
  • New data option available! Select the Skills Practice and Quiz assignment type to view the number of words students read while interacting with the nonfiction articles available within Accelerated Reader 360. (Available only for AR 360.)
