Supporting children and their families at home

We’re committed to working together with schools and districts to support you and your children through digital programs and resources. Each program listed below can be used at home to help build your child’s literacy and math skills.

Additional resources are available to help families support student learning, regardless of which products they are using.

Accelerated Reader

What is Accelerated Reader? Accelerated Reader is an independent reading practice program that helps K–12 students to become confident, lifelong readers through choice.

How does Accelerated Reader work? Students are encouraged to choose a book to read—whether it’s a book around the house or something online. When students are done reading, they take a short quiz. Educators gain insight into students’ reading habits and students see their growth.

How do I find engaging books for my student? With Accelerated Reader Bookfinder, it’s easy to search for books that have a related Renaissance Accelerated Reader quiz.
