Thank you to all who participated in the California myON Gift of Literacy winter reading initiative, which launched on December 1, 2021, and continued through February 28, 2022.

During that period, Renaissance provided unlimited, 24/7 access to thousands of myON digital books and daily news articles through a special statewide shared account free of charge. This account was set up for all students who were not already reading on myON with their own personalized accounts through their school or district subscriptions.

The shared account offered a simple and immediate way for these students to access unlimited reading opportunities at home, at school, and in the community—particularly during winter break.
