If you are a Star Phonics administrator, your to-do list:

  1. Have teachers check their class rosters.
  2. Set your assessment windows.
  3. Set the scope and sequence if applicable. If we need to build one for you, please ensure we have what we need to do so. Creation of a scope and sequence takes 3-4 weeks.

If you are a Star Phonics teacher, your to-do list:

  1. Check your class rosters.
  2. Review instructions for how to give a screener or diagnostic test if necessary.

Rostering options

Star Phonics offers two options for rostering. Each offers various advantages depending on your
school and district needs.

  1. Import Roster Data
We can load files for school(s), classroom(s), teacher(s), and student(s) for you. Contact your Implementation Coordinator for additional information on how to complete these files.
  2. Clever Library
Quickly roster accounts through the Clever Library integration with Star Phonics. Send a data sharing request through Clever or provide a District Clever ID number and we can begin the sharing request. Once the sharing has been initiated, you will need to share ONLY those students and teachers who need access to Star Phonics. Please ensure that the number of students shared does not exceed the number of licenses your district purchased. Please be sure to only share one “section” or classroom, but please feel free to use whichever is best for your school/district.
