Back to School with Renaissance - RGP - 2021

If you are a Renaissance administrator, your to-do list:

Add the new school year
Update your roster (see below for roster options and information)
Review screening windows and make adjustments if necessary
Review adjust settings preferences, for example:
- District-level: Set Learning Standards
- District-level: Set IP Addresses and Product Access
- School-level: Dates and Times for Accelerated Reader
- School-level: Dates and Times for Star Assessments

If you are a Renaissance teacher/librarian, your to-do list:

Review classes once set up
Make sure you can locate your student usernames and passwords
Review product implementation resources below

Rostering options

Single-School CSV file Upload

NEW Email requirement for 2021-2022. Staff emails are now required to be included in your single file import. You can export this information from your student information system (SIS).

Single-school imports are often done prior to the start of school by the customer’s lead technical contact or school administrator.

A new school year needs to be created before your roster can be uploaded.

A step-by-step guide will assist in importing students using a single file per school, and here are the tips for setting up the file. If you need help preparing or importing your file, please contact Customer Support via live chat or call 1-800-338-4204.

Automated Rostering with CDI

As a CDI customer, you do not need to create a new school year or upload rosters. If you have questions, please contact your Data Integration Specialist.

Shared Rostering Opportunity

After completing your rostering into RGP, customers can take advantage of Shared Rostering, a new feature allowing them to regularly and automatically share RGP rostering data with other Renaissance platforms including Freckle, myON, and Schoolzilla.

How you set your IP restrictions will vary depending on if you are back in the physical school buildings, remote learning, or a combination of in-school and remote.
