John Katzman, founder and CEO of The Noodle Companies and Renaissance Board of Director, honored with prestigious Global Silicon Valley award
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (April 4, 2018) – Renaissance® is proud to congratulate John Katzman, founder and CEO of The Noodle Companies, and a member of Renaissance’s Board of Directors, for earning the prestigious 2018 GSV Lifetime Achievement Award.
Katzman is the 6th annual award winner, and is being honored by Global Silicon Valley (GSV) as a “consummate education entrepreneur” who has had a “profound impact in changing the world for good.” In addition to serving on Renaissance’s Board of Directors, he also serves on the boards of Woodrow Wilson Foundation and the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. He previously served on the board of the National Association of Independent Schools for six years.
Prior to founding Noodle, Katzman founded and ran both The Princeton Review and 2U. He is often invited to speak on topics related to education and the measurement of academic achievement. He received his bachelor of arts degree from Princeton University in 1981.
