Sally joined Renaissance in 2016 and is responsible for Strategic Partnerships. Prior to joining Renaissance, she worked for an edtech startup, as well as large educational publishers including Cambridge University Press and Pearson. She taught ESL/ELL and high school students for six years in the UK, where she is originally from. She continues to teach literacy and ESL to adult learners as part of a community volunteer program in New York City where she lives.

    I heard about Flow as helping to facilitate lesson planning and even with grading assignments. With so many cut backs, I will be extremely pleasantly surprised if my county will pay for that extra support. Fingers crossed!

    FLOW sounds like a great tool. However, I would assume that many districts are tied by a strict budget that would limit their ability to purchase this tool. Then again, the administration of districts ask that we individualize student instruction. This program seems like a great way to achieve that goal.

    FLOW is a great idea. However, many school districts are being given smaller budgets which prohibits them in purchasing such programs. Individualization of instruction is beneficial to the student, but it is hard to achieve without funding to support initiatives like FLOW. I would like to be able to use it myself.
