Renaissance Announces Departure of Jack Lynch and Appointment of Mike Evans as Interim Chief Executive Officer

WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (February 15, 2017)Renaissance®, the leader in K–12 learning analytics, today announced that Jack Lynch, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, will be leaving Renaissance to take over the CEO position at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Lynch will help transition the leadership of Renaissance to the company’s Chief Financial Officer, Mike Evans, who will serve as interim CEO. Renaissance’s Board of Directors will immediately begin a search for the company’s next CEO.

Mr. Evans is a 20-year veteran in education technology and passionate about K–12 education. Prior to joining Renaissance, Mike led Pearson’s K–12 Literacy and Math business lines, as well as their Student Information business and K–12 technology organization. At BigChalk, a provider of digital libraries and curriculum, Mike was the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing key operations for the web-based company.
